They must be free of accidents involving serious injury to passengers and must have NO major FAA enforcement actions taken against them &#8212; each for a minimum of five years.<\/p>\n<p>All chartered flights must be crewed by two pilots, regardless of whether the aircraft is certified for single-pilot operations. To further ensure our clients&#8217; safety, we will only charter flights on turbo-prop or jet aircraft and will not organize flights on any piston-powered aircraft.<\/p>\n<h4>Insurance Requirements<\/h4>\n<p>In order for an aircraft to be compliant with the Stratos Approved Vendor Program, it must first demonstrate its commitment to air charter safety by maintaining at least $25 million of insurance on turbo-prop aircraft and $50 million on all other private aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>These levels of insurance are issues required to protect jet charter passengers and their families in the event of an emergency.
