When you first deplane at the jet charter airport in Hope, make sure you pay a quick visit to the Visitor’s Information Center. Here you’ll find a lot of inspiration for sightseeing during your stay. It’s also a historic museum packed with historic train station and railroad memorabilia. It’s also home to a homage of sorts to the former president of the United States.
For a trip into the times before audio and technology ruled supreme, slip over to the Klipsch Museum of Audio History. Paul W. Klipsch was one of the founding fathers of the audio and technology industry post-WWII. Historic mementos and artifacts sit in an old telephone exchange facility which served as the company’s first factory.
Lake Columbia is a must-visit for those new to Hope, Arkansas. This 30,000-acre lake is perfect for fishing. Anglers can expect to reel in at least one largemouth bass. Other popular catches-of-the-day include crappie, channel catfish, bluegills and red-ear sunfish.
