Positioning time refers to the amount of time it takes for an aircraft, like a group jet charter, to position itself from its current position to its departure point on the runway. This is similar to repositioning time<\/a> or taxi time<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, unlike repositioning and taxi time, the beginning point can be anywhere in an airport as long as the aircraft is heading towards is departure position. This time can vary from a few to several minutes.<\/p>\n
