They deal with all things aviation, including large and small airplanes. Some of the issues they deal with most frequently include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aircraft accident reporting<\/li>\n<li>Reports of low-flying large or small airplanes<\/li>\n<li>Air carrier operations and certification<\/li>\n<li>Aircraft operational problems<\/li>\n<li>Aircraft repairs and maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Aircraft and carrier permits<\/li>\n<li>Licensing and certification for airmen (pilots, mechanics, repairmen, parachute riggers, and dispatchers)<\/li>\n<li>Certification and modification issues and complaints<\/li>\n<li>The enforcement of aircraft and airmen regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>A Federal Aviation Administration Overview<\/h2>\n<p>The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has been around since 1967. It was put in place as a governing body used to regulate all aspects of civil aviation. Civil aviation can be divided into four different groups, all of which are regulated by the FAA.
