A fleet manager can either be a person or an entire company.<\/p>\n<h2>A Fleet Manager&#8217;s Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<p>The role of a fleet manager or fleet management entity can include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organizing aircraft repairs<\/li>\n<li>Scheduling routine aircraft maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing the financial aspects of aircraft<\/li>\n<li>Tracking and diagnosing aircraft functions<\/li>\n<li>Managing aircraft crew members<\/li>\n<li>Booking a private jet or helicopter charter<\/li>\n<li>Managing fuel consumptions and costs<\/li>\n<li>Implementing health and safety programs<\/li>\n<li>Facilitating partnerships between aircraft operators and clients\/passengers<\/li>\n<li>Adhering to the regulations of the Federal Aviation Administration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fleet managers take on all of the day-to-day operations of aircrafts. This ensures the fleet is operating to its full potential and helps maximize efficiency and productivity. Fleet managers may come from an out-sourced company or work directly for the owners of the fleet.<\/p>\n<h2>A Preferable Charter Company<\/h2>\n<p>At Stratos Jets, we don\u2019t own any of the aircraft that we book for our clients.
