Some of these activities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Typical airline flights<\/li>\n<li>Aircraft design<\/li>\n<li>Aircraft maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Pilot training and certification<\/li>\n<li>Hot-air ballooning<\/li>\n<li>Model aircraft operation<\/li>\n<li>Model rocket launches<\/li>\n<li>Man-made building heights<\/li>\n<li>Obstruction lighting and marking<\/li>\n<li>Drone operation<\/li>\n<li>Kite flying<\/li>\n<li>Lighter-than-air aircraft<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Although it may seem like some of these activities are unnecessary to regulate, the FARs are designed to ensure safe aviation. By regulating all airborne activity, the FARs protect flight crew, passengers, and the general public from danger. The Many, Many Regulations of the FAA The FARs are divided into thousands of independent schedules. However, only a small percentage pertains to air charters. The two most common sections utilized and adhered to by air charter brokers and operators are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stratosjets.com\/glossary\/faa-part-121\/\">FAA Part 121<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stratosjets.com\/glossary\/faa-part-135\/\">FAA Part 135<\/a>.
